Before entering the real estate field in 1996, I had been designing and installing computer systems while focusing on Productivity Improvement and Quality Management. I spent much of my time managing projects and interacting with high level management. This gave me an excellent opportunity to build my interpersonal and financial management skills. During that time I was actively participating in many real estate transactions both with and without real estate professionals. It seemed that combining my experience in real estate, from an owner’s perspective, along with my technology background, I could effectively assist homeowners in maximizing their real estate objectives. I believe in helping people meet their needs, not mine. I am very service oriented and strongly believe in Integrity Selling, which provides a congruence of knowledge, skills, and values. In support of my values, I have affiliated myself with an office that meets my high standards of service and is recognized both locally and nationally as putting the client first. I have two adopted children and understand those issues important to families such as schools and neighborhood support. My daughter Zhanna is from Kazakhstan, and my son Max is from Peru. Horses have recently become very important in the life of my daughter and I. We have two horses, stabled about 45 minutes outside of Atlanta. “Duke”, a Missouri Fox Trotter and “Coke”, a Tennessee Walker. |

| | Growing up in a family where finding and creating a “home” is highly valued, it makes perfect sense that I chose a career in Real Estate. After graduating from the University of Georgia with honors and a degree in Real Estate, I chose to move back to the town that I was raised in and loved so much, Decatur. The positive, first-hand experiences I’d had living in Decatur including attending Druid Hills High school, working at Druid Hills Golf Club and joining The First Baptist Church of Decatur Youth Group, influenced me to “build” my own family and home here.
In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family, playing sports, working on home-improvement projects, watching the New York Giants and attending Braves baseball games. Most of all, I love to connect with people and build relationships, and it’s through this process that I discover how we all share similar life-experiences. This discovery allows me to network and pull people and ideas together organically. In everything I do, I value honesty, hard work, integrity and high-quality results and feel that home buyers and sellers should expect to receive the best service possible. I’m inspired and motivated by each person who I encounter and consider it a privilege to know them better and catch a glimpse of their life-story. | Born and raised in the Atlanta area, I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Advertising and a minor in Psychology. My background is made up of sales, public relations and service. I was given the opportunity to expand my communication and listening skills through these experiences. With HUD certification and education in special financing offered to home owners, it is important to me stay up-to-date with market trends and clients’ needs.
My significant other, Rush, and I purchased a home in Decatur early this year and spend most of our free time there with our dog, Marley, and friends. We have enjoyed making needed renovations to the home and look forward to further improvements along the way. As a member of the board of our homeowners’ association, I am able to contribute to the neighborhood in which we live. I am even discovering the unlikely possibility of a “green thumb” as I learn the positive and relaxing attributes of gardening and lawn tending.
I work diligently to understand and meet the expectations of my clients. My ultimate goal is to assist others in reaching their aspirations and dreams. Fortunately, real estate provides me with numerous opportunities to accomplish this goal through a variety of interesting ways. Aside from assisting clients in buying, selling and renting homes, I have had the opportunity to work with incredible philanthropic organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Our House. Service opportunities such as these have become a passion.
Introduced to the real estate industry at an early age by my grandmother, I have returned to my roots. My family has lived in the Atlanta area for over 80 years and is a large part of my life and provides me with their unconditional love and support with all my endeavors.
